Pavé jewellery is jewellery very tightly encrusted with gems. Normally with as little of the metal the gems are mounted in showing as possible! The name pavé originally came about due to the French word for paved or cobblestoned. The increasing popularity of charm jewellery has helped bring pavé to our attention due to the crystal encrusted charms that are available to adorn it with. It seems that one fashion designer always loves to portray her influences through the use of pavé style jewellery but now Jade Jagger's new 'Disco Diamond Collection' takes that love even further. As reported on Vogue.com this collection stems from the image and influence of the Disco Mirror ball and features sparkling pavé diamond encrusted balls and rosary style gems.
