THE HISTORY BIT!

Lee Black has been strutting his stuff for quite a few years now. He started out as a cabaret act winning Newmarket Cabaret Club Star Search 1997. However, the highlight of his cabaret career was performing a solo spot at the London Palladium in a Charity Gala in 1998.

The turn of the century saw Lee head in a new direction as Entertainment Manager with Haven Holidays. In 2001 he was head hunted by Park Resort Holidays, there he won the Entertainment Manager of the Year award for 2001. Four more years followed with equal success.

The Disco Roadshow became a full time venture in 2005 having just worked winter seasons for the previous 5 years.

Lee has been resident DJ at the Bull Hotel Peterborough at Christmas for the past 10 years. Being their first choice DJ he also provides music for most of the weddings held at the Bull.

He has also played at many venues across Cambridgeshire,  Lincolnshire and Norfolk as well as exclusive gallery venues in the West End and more recently Livery Hall functions for a major London catering firm.

Lee is looking to expand his disco coverage into London and the home counties in 2013. Also looking to promote the older music events, golf captains days etc focusing on 50's 60's music.

During his time on the holiday parks Lee developed a very good knowledge of presentation and an ability to 'read' a room, knowing instinctively what to play next.

Lee believes in bringing 'Family Disco' to the masses.  Playing a variety of classic tunes as well as great new stuff its all about letting your hair down and enjoying yourself.
