 We have a new Vicar for Laxton Church.
He is the Rev Graham Thornalley. So if you fancy meeting him, come along to St Peters Church on a Sunday. All are welcome, free entry, no need to book a seat.
Also, the Rocky Club starts again soon. Great for the kids, good for them as well, also even better for you as well, if you fancy a break. !

The Rocky Club -
This lively children’s club meets on alternate Tuesdays in the Church. Children of all ages are very welcome.
The Parish Council have also recently purchased a hand gritter or spreader, which is a two wheel hand barrow type machine. So hopefully if the winter is not as bad as the last, we can grit the pavements and other icy spots with salt and grit when required. The Parish Council also purchased, some time ago a portable electricity generator and a portable water pump. These are attached to 'hand pull' trolleys for emergency use arround the Parish as, and when required. After the recent parish meeting (August 5th 2011) and the huge rain storm which flooded Back Street, it was noted that access to these peices of emergency equipment will have to be widened and improved _________________________________________ ______________
