A new addition to the BMMO range is L40. This is a representation of one of the experimental rear engined single deckers built in 1935. This was one of two buses built with a manual gearbox (CHA2 and CHA3). The first and second (BHA1 and CHA1, a coach) had Cotal epicyclic boxes (like Wilson but electro-mechanical). There was much rebuilding and experimentation at the time and BMMO carried some of the developments forward to what became the S6 class.
