Hi there Scott.
I'm pleased you have found my site 'interesting' Its always good to see what other photographers are currently doing isn't it.
I have had a look at your site & I found that yours is interesting too. Looks like you are doing a good job I think. My site, like yours is also ongoing, I put images in that others might like too. I will look into yours from time to time, as you may do, on mine.
Cheers Scott

steam
Hello Ken
Arrived here via your message on Beckham forum.
After 48 years in the Merchant Navy, and a couple of years settling down, a pal re-introduced me to steam which, coupled with a digital camera & photoshop, is fast becoming a passion (again). You have lots of photos here which I'm envious of and they include most of my intentions for 2010. Beautiful beasts.

Well Hi there again firebox.
I was sorry you left Barry's
forum, I was looking forward to seeing some of your steam shots, others too if you had any. Anyway welcome to my website, I am very happy its given you some inspiration. Steam has always been a passion with me, I am not a rivet counter or an anorack, nothing wrong with those people though, everyone to their own. I enjoy talking photographs of anything with a fire in its boiler. I more often than not try to get trackside, up close & personal. I live 40 mins away from East Lancashire Railway, 50 mins from Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. The West Coast Mainline actually runs thro my village of Euxton. 1hour 30mins will get me onto the Settle Carisle ( S & C ).
My legs are not what they used to be these days so trackside walks, I try to keep reasonably short. 2009 saw me at Seven Valley railway, Great Central railway, North Yorkshire Moors railway, Crewe, and Tysley. Well enough of my adventures, what about yours, I am glad you have found 2 passions, photography & steam locomotives, there is a heck of a lot to learn & pursue there. Please keep in touch firebox, you can also use my email addy, kjbirch@blueyonder.co.uk.
Kind regards
Ken Birch
