My work is mostly woven in pure wool using natural dyes and the island landscape is my inspiration.           

        

My interest in handweaving and spinning began when I was living in New Zealand during the early 1970's. After returning to England I spent a year studying at Graffam Weavers in Sussex, then spent six months with Swedish weaver Karin Wood in Edinburgh. I also attended a summer school of Weaving in the Shetland Isles.

I have now lived in Skye for over 30 years and sell my work mostly through commissions or through local shops and galleries. Visits to my studio by appointment.
