Quaker Truth & Integrity Group (QTIG) invite you to participate in a global online meeting for worship to share uncertainties, fears and hopes, and to uphold each other in ever changing political landscapes. Register for 2025 Yearly Meeting
Adults, children and young people can register now to attend Yearly Meeting from Friday 23–Monday 26 May 2025. It will be a blended meeting in Friends House, London and online.  Yearly Meeting Preparation sessions and Special Interest Meetings wll be held online Sunday 27 April to Saturday 3 May 2025.  Click here for full details of how and when to register for all of these events.  Cost should not be a barrier to attending Yearly Meeting: 
If you need financial help please speak to Friends in your local or area meeting.  If they can't help, you can ask for financial support from the Yearly Meeting bursary fund

This MfW for business is in person and we are aware that this excludes many Friends who are unable to travel to Inverness . At the moment we are unable to do blended meetings, but I wish to encourage any Inverness Friends to come forward if they feel that they could manage the technology.  I encourage Friends outwith Inverness to contact the clerks before this Feb 23rd with any comments or issues that might come to the next business meeting. JANUARY  NOTICES

We record with sadness the death of  Lis Nicholson (Shetland) in Lerwick Hospital on the 7th January after a stroke at her home on the northern island of Unst.  Funeral Details to follow.
A Memorial Meeting for Anne Galbraith, who died on 30th November, will be held in Skeabost Village Hall, Skye on 10th January at 11am.

Advance Notice: NSAM Meeting for Business for Worship 8th February. Starting at 10.30am, we will be joined in the morning by Philip Austin to tell us more about Northern Friends Peace Board.  Richard Raggett and Carolynn Burch will continue the 'political' theme and invite us to discern priorities for parliamentary engagement in 2026: see paper here In the afternoon Sila Colins-Walden and Lynden Easterbrook will take us further with the Future of British Quakerism, following their attendance at the conference on the same theme last year.

On Sunday 12th Sila is going to feedback to us, after meeting, on this conference she attended : The Future of British Quakerism Conference held at Yarnfield in Staffordshire  and via zoom on October 18-20th 2024. The keyspeakers were Paul Parker,Rhiannon Grant, Shena Deuchars and Ben Pink Dandelion.  The themes included :Membership, commitment and belonging to a Quaker community, theology and identity and speaking with a confident voice. Telling our stories.
