Hearing loss and people with learning disabilities

Target audience:  all people with an interest in hearing problems and ear pathologies in adults with learning disabilities.

The pupose of this site:

• to improve services for people with learning disabilities (PwLD) who have hearing problems or ear pathologies by:

  • sharing information

  • sharing resources e.g. easy-read information leaflets etc

  • working together with professionals and carers to improve services and outcomes

  • providing a support network

  • keeping members informed about relevant events

  • building up a reference list
