During what has now become known as the worst winter storm in living memory that has been given the title "The Beast From The East" I put my trust in my driving skills and the 4X4 capibilities of my Nissan X-Trail T30.
I managed way better than I expected and managed through 3ft snowdrifts without any problems, which is more than can be said for several local farmers in thier Landrovers.
I towed one out of a ditch but another declined my offer of help and phoned his son to bring a tractor to pull him out.
