Competition Win!

Back in March one of my favourite suppliers opened a St Patrick's Day themed competition. The brief being make what ever you wanted, be it a necklace, bracelet, broach or hair piece, as long as it was inspired by St Patrick's Day. It was the first competition I had entered and I decided to make a very intricate hair piece out of tiny little seed beads all beaded togther using a neadle and thread. I first made 5 triangular petals for the base flower. Then I made another 3 smaller triangles and edged those in gold to create a shamrock shape. I sewed all these pieces togther and made crystal bursts in the middle for detail. To my delight I won the competition and received a big prize in the post, more beads!!!
