Scout and Guide Museum
Britain's first purpose-built Scout and Guide Museum, at Waddecar Scout Activity Centre, Lancashire, was opened in 2000. It tells 'The Story of Guiding' and 'The Story of Scouting' from the rise of the Founder, B-P, to international fame at the Siege of Mafeking to the present day, and looks to the future.
