yourthurrock, could you do me a favour, and ask Gerry Calder if he attended a party in Inchinnan a number of years ago given for Dougie Vipond's father. I think we met, and talked about Gerry? By the way great interview and tribute.

It was very kind of Gerry's friend to let us hear some about him. I've been looking all over for all kinds of things on him & want to see it all. Gerry is admired because of his empathetic kindness showing a lot of understanding of the human experience. I wonder if he knew how much he means to others & if he did, maybe he'd still be here now. This has really made me deeply sad. I feel really bad for him & have always been moved to a sadness by his songs, they're very sentimental, now more so.
