Teri worked her magic on my wedding dress and also those of my 2 flower-girls - she did several fittings & adjustments to make sure that they fitted perfectly, and also embellished the dresses with hundreds of crystals so that they glittered beautifully!

Above & beyond the call of duty - Teri also stepped-in at the last minute when we were let down by the people applying crystals to my wedding shoes. She got going with her glue-gun and spent hours applying hundreds of crystals all over my shoes - they looked a million dollars! Thank you, Teri!

Wedding Outfit

Teri did a wonderful job of making my outfit for my sons wedding. When I met Teri in Drop Dead Gorgeous I was feeling desperate as I couldn't find anything to fit me properly. With only a few weeks before the wedding Teri was helpful and patient over the choice of material & pattern and completed the outfit in record time. It was much admired by everyone on the day & was also extremely comfortable. Thank you Teri for all your help.

Wedding Dresses

Teri was an absolute joy to work with on my weding dress - having met her through a sewing group, I knew very early on that I didn't want my dress to be made by anyone else! She has a wealth of experience and was fantastic in helping me realise my designs, as well as putting forward great ideas (adapting straps to look like a halterneck from the front but fitting to the bodice at the back for example). Her help with the choice of materials was invaluable as well.

The fit of the dress was perfect, it was exactly as I had imagined it, and I could not have felt more comfortable on the day. Teri went out of her way to help me fix problems with my bridesmaids dresses as well. Her work is top quality, extremely professional and she is a wonderful, friendly person to work with - I had no worries at all, she put me so at ease!

alteration to cocktail dress

I saw the most gorgeous emerald green cocktail dress in the sale in Drop Dead Gorgeous in Bath - just perfect for my grand-daughter. Could not resist it even though I doubted it would fit her in all places. Gorgeous as she is and in proportion, she does not always comply to standard fittings. I tried it on which made me more determined to get it even though I could not breath. No chance for my grand-daughter who lives some distance away to meet Teri - but did I need to worry - not at all - TERI is an absolute MARVEL. We sent her the dress with the weirdest instructions and only a school name tag to go on for the width alteration required in the midriff - collected the dress on Saturday and the fit is stupendous - I will never look any further than FABRIC WORKSHOP for such alterations - and was telling everyone in the shop this when they were trying on lovely dresses that did not quite fit!!!!!! HAVE NO FEAR TERI WILL FIX IT (PERFECTLY)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The other thing our timescale for an event was very short but she went head over heels in completing the work on time.

Teri was recommended to me by a friend who attended a wedding where Teri had created the wedding dress. I wanted an outfit for my brother's wedding where I was going to be the Best Woman. Teri had tons of patterns and samples and I had no trouble picking out a colour and style that I was happy with. Her work is outstanding, she is extremely professional and the final outfit was as good as anything (if not better) than anything I could have bought in the shops. I would have absolutely no hesitation in suggesting Teri to anyone looking for that special and unique outfit. Thanks Teri, you rock!!
