OK so you want to apply for a job that you have seen advertised, but you are unsure about how to go about this,
You could just lie through your teeth and hope for the best and if that works, then good luck to you. But if the employer asks about any convictions and you say 'None at all', you will be sacked when they do the inevitable CRB / DBS check.
By far the best method of disclosure is by outlining your conviction(s) in a Letter of Disclosure that is sent to the employer along with your application form(s).
When completing the application form, you will inevitably come to that horrible question that asks about any criminal convictions.
DO NOT DESPAIR ! ( and do not run before you can walk, patience is a virtue ).
