ILFORD CONGRESS FROM 1953

Please find attached a report of the 1953 Congress. As you can see the Congress is steeped in tradition and in this years congress we wish to continue the successful events of the past. If you have any past stories of the congress please share them with us.

If you look closely at the report you will see two names of current Essex Chess Players who are Jim Howson and Laurie Burtt. If you spot any others please let me know.
