Traffic Lights that need sorting out
The road junction to Dwr y Felin Road from the main A48 Road is one of the busiest in Neath and is controlled by traffic lights.
The junction leads to the Neath Colleges, Caewern, Wauncerich, Rhiwlas, Fernlea Park and other housing developments. Facilities in the area include: a Tesco Express Store with adjoining shops, a Post Office, the Owain Glyndwr Community Centre and Wauncerich Junior School.
The area is classified as South Bryncoch and is served by two NPT Councillors and is covered by Blaenhoddan Community Council who also cover the villages on the South side of the River Neath from Roman Way (Neath Abbey) to Aberdulais.
Bus services via Dwr y Felin include the route to North Bryncoch, Rhos, Pontardawe in one direction and Neath Town Centre in the other.
