Davy played at Centre Half in the DAFC team when we won our first cup against Eddlewood in 1966. Sincere condolences to all his family . Posted by kenny sludden on 05 September 2024 Katharine Mathieson It was with great sadness that we received the news of the sudden and untimely death of Kath. Only a few months ago she, along with her husband Sean, arranged for a group of ex DAFC players to attend a dinner in Ellon, at which her dad Miller was to be honoured for his long service to Ellon Utd FC. Her Remembrance service which was held in Ellon parish church, was delivered with great dignity by her husband and the Mathieson family. A very large turnout was a credit to the memory of a kind, caring and considerate lady held in much esteem by all who knew her. Rest in Peace Kath, we will never forget you Posted by Kenny Sludden on 30 January 2023 DAFC Some photos of Miller Mathieson with wife Alison, daughter Kath, and son in law Sean, meeting the McMillan family, Tam Lennox, Johnny Hamilton, and John Jackson, are available in the Miller Mathieson Page Posted by kenny sludden on 04 September 2021 Miller mathieson Hi Bobby,Miller was the under factor at the Douglas&Angus estate where I worked for over 20 years.I don’t think the work was very demanding as he spent a lot of time on the football finances. He is one of the best never seen him angry always a smile for everyone.
