Are we all mad? Are all anglers mad - especially match anglers?? Spent the first hour of today's match desperately hanging on to brolly in stiff winds and pouring rain - a bit like a strap-hanger on the underground. After the brolly was nearly turned inside out twice decided to bin it and spend the remaining 4 hours getting p..s wet through - well almost. Didn't notice much till the end of the match when an extremely wet crotch made packing up a touch uncomfortable as well as cold. Note to self - wear the incontinence pants OUTSIDE the jeans. This serves two purposes in winter - keeps the cold wet out and the warm wet in !!!!!!!!!

Tyram Hall - only fished it once before in the summer. Sat out for carp for too long but found roach feeding almost on the rod end. Didn't set up a pole because of the wind so fished a light waggler. Ended up with 50 of the little blighters for just 8lbs 3oz and third
