South Tour - Loch Ness and Inverness - approx 4 hours

Leaving Invergordon, we head south via the villages of Conon Bridge, Muir of Ord, Beauly, and eventually passing Kiltarlity on the way to Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness.
You will experience travelling through farming countryside, highland moorlands and higher ground before decending into the village of Drumnadrochit.  The village and area will appeal to all visitors, whether it is to learn about the Loch to inform you to make your own conclusion as to whether Nessie is fact or fiction (Loch Ness Monstor Exhibition Centre) or admire the natural beauty of Urquhart Bay, which provides the most magnificent views of Loch Ness and is known to have many recorded sightings of Nessie (Loch Ness Monster).  There is also opportunity to walk on the shores of the loch through woodland walks.

Urquhart Castle is next stop which will provide ample opportunity for photographs to take home to your families.  Urquhart Castle has origins from the 6th century, tours of the castle are on offer, and  a  five star visitor centre provides the opportunity to visit a audio/visual show and restaurant facilities providing traditional Scottish fayre

If you wish to visit the Castle, there is an admission fee, and also if you wish to use the café or toilets.

Depending on what options you have taken, we will now travel to Inverness, and visit the James Pringle woollen mill which has a large selection of woollens, cashmeres and tweeds.
There is also a large Gift and Craft shop you may like to visit before travelling back to the ship via Inverness.
We advise that you discuss any other requests with your driver at this time, as he has to plan your journey back to the ship within your booking scheduled time.
We wish you a happy day.
