In 1976 most of the Highlands and Islands were unable to receive TV signals due to the remoteness of the towns and villages and mountainous nature of the land.
I made it my challenge to change this!
The book relates to my work and travels round the Highlands, the beautiful, magical and sometimes harsh places I went, the people and the challenges I met in the course of a pioneering ten year journey.
There was a great deal of satisfaction in what I achieved and also wonderment at the stunning scenery which I have tried to capture through the many photographs throughout the book.
