Photoshop Elements/Lightroom Training Workshops
Our Elements course will run this Autumn/winter, run by club chairman Andrew Barrett and supported by other committee member. We are also investigating a shorter course in Adobe Lightroom which Neal will run - if interested please let us know.

At regular intervals we run PhotoShop Elements training courses. Having no luck reading books? Need a helping hand? This is a course for beginners and covers all the basics of Elements. The course is structured around the goals most photographers want to achieve - quick enhancements, correcting errors, adding "punch" and working with black and white. We do not cover techniques for the sake of it but focus on what photographers need. Cropping, Exposure Control and Layers will feature prominently. These aspects will give you the tools to both make an immediate impact and help you start a longer journey in photo editing. Best of all is that you will receive support from current members as well as a pack with detailed instructions so that you can practise in your own time. If you have an interest in our next course then please get in touch. You will not be committed until we confirm the course is going ahead and the dates. This is to cover the extra expenses of hall hire, heating, photocopying and to reflect the hours of preparation that go into the course. All monies go into the club fund which then helps to fund the visiting speakers. |
