About me
Hi, my name is Corri and I am a 31 year-old mother of three young children. I currently live on the south coast of England, not far from Brighton although I am originally from Wantage in Oxfordshire.
I have been interested in crafting ever since I was little although never had the practical skills to accomplish what my imagination desired! As hard as I tried at school with art, it was soon obvious that I wasn't destined to be the next Andy Warhol or Tracy Emin!
It wasn't until 2009 that I decided to succumb to my crafting 'urges' and started painting children's characters onto canvas box frames. To my surpise (and delight) they turned out rather well and soon I was taking orders from all over the country! Sadly, the demand was such that I had to limit this strand of activity as the cost of materials + postage + family life meant that I wasn't completing orders as quickly as they were coming in.
Over the past three years I have tried my hand at many different projects: Canvas painting, handmade greetings cards. glass/porcelain painting.. I am currently taking orders for peronsalised Christmas baubles, Santa Letters, Reindeer Food, Christmas plates and Christmas cards... the baubles definitely being the most popular!
In the New Year I am aiming to move into personalised candles, t-shirts, keyrings and other items... so watch this space! If you have an idea for a gift that you'd like to see me making, please feel free to contact me :)
