In September 2002 I decided I would like to get another beardie as I was enjoying going to shows and thought another beardie would enjoy it, I went to see a litter of puppies they were only 3 weeks old I had originally decided that I wanted a slate puppy but when I saw them there was one puppy that stood out to me a brown puppy. I picked her up and when I held her to my face she licked my nose even at this early age I decided that the puppy had actually chosen me not the other way round.

The breeder Marilyn Thorpe was so friendly and helpful and I met all of her other beardies. Marilyn kept in contact with me updating me on the puppies progress and e-mailed photos of them, she was there for me (and still is) when I had lots of questions. Its hard to pick a puppy when there are a few there but when I went for Jodie I knew that she was the one that was coming home with me.

Jodie (Merrythorpe Razzamatazz for Canjoline) also started her showing at 6 months. Jodie was born on 02.09.02 she is totally different to Candy, she has much more confidence although she is very playful at home, when we started to show her she just knew what to do and thoroughly enjoyed herself. While I show Jodie, Candy stays at home with her human dad.

Thanks to Marilyn who has been an enormous help to me especially when we decided to show Jodie, she never fails to send cards and e-mails to congratulate us. Hopefully I can be as kind and considerate to the owners of Jodies puppies.

Jodie had a litter of 5 beautiful puppies on 23.11.04 2 boys and 3 girls. The minute Sebastian (Canjoline San Sebastian) was born I decided that he would be the one to that was going to stay with us and join our beardie family. Sebs litter is the first litter that I have with my own Affix. Unfortionately due to my accidident we had to rehome Seb, it was an extremely hard decision to make but need not have worried so much. Seb went to live with a fantastic couple Carole & David, I couldn't have wished for a better home for him, they keep in regular contact with me and even get Seb to send postcards and photos of their holidays, Thank-you Carol & David for taking such good care of Seb & making a difficult decision much easier for me.
