It is a requirement of organic certification that your organic certificate is supplied with all sales of certified produce.

It is also a legal requirement for abattoirs to hold declaration on food safety called Food Chain Information (FCI) declarations. Please do not send stock to the abattoir without supplying Farm Stock Scotland with the correct paperwork (a valid organic certificate, the appropriate FCI declaration form and the cattle passports)

If stock arrive at the abattoir without the correct paperwork the abattoir reserves the right to reject your stock and return them to you at cost - you will be liable for haulage in both directions.
