Uma has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and, in addition to her dental qualifications, is a member of the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA). She has extensive training and experience in this field and is able to offer Redland Dental patients dermal fillers which soften creases around the mouth plus botox treatment which can smooth lines and wrinkles around the eyes and the forehead caused by ageing or hyperactivity of the facial muscles.

Using dermal fillers and Botulinum Toxin to smooth wrinkles will complement a teeth-whitening ‘smile lift' and is one of the most effective ways to increase confidence in your appearance and give you a beautiful smile.

Dermal filling involves the injection of a gel-like product under the skin to fill and soften creases. The effects can last between six and twelve months.

Wrinkle smoothing with botox is a straightforward procedure that has has been used safely and effectively for over 25 years. A very fine needle is used to gently inject Botulinum Toxin to fill frown lines and crow’s feet. It takes about one to two weeks to see the full effects of the treatment with results lasting up to four months.

Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to make an appointment.
