Christmas Tree Lighting
Fairlie Village Hall
It was a great honour for Fr. Frank Donnachie as a Historian of Fairlie to be asked by Fairlie Community Association to switch on the village tree lights, approx. 120 gathered in the village hall to enjoy the musical entertainment by Fairlie Primary School cello group. With a noisy countdown Fr. Frank switched on the lights. Everyone then enjoyed Christmas refreshments.

Installation of Ven. Prec. Fr. Sandy Connor.
Ven. Fr. Sandy Connor was installed as Venerable Preceptor by Em. Fr. Edward Lawless P.P. and V. Em. Fr. Jim Edgar P.P. ably assisted by the Fratres of Garnock Vale. A very fine Installation was enjoyed by 50 Fratres attending the muster. With 38 Fratres retiring to refectory, a very enjoyable meal was enjoyed by all.

Venerable Preceptor Sandy Connor held a
Celebration Dinner
and an Audience with Him
The Ven. Prec. Fr. Sandy Connor entertained 50 Masonic friends, after they had all enjoyed an excellent three course dinner, exceptional laughter and fun was had by all. The Evening was a great success with very good speakers and entertainers, at the end of a superb night Ven. Prec. Fr. Sandy had the pleasure of handing over a financial gifted to Br. Les Pearson R.W.M. of Lodge St. John Largs 173 for their nominated charity MacMillan Cancer Support.
Sunday 22nd May 2016 The District Grand Priory of Ayrshire Divine Service.
Brisbane at Largs were represented by Ven. Fr. Andrew M. Gourley P.P., Fr. Alan A. Buntain, Fr. William Kirkpatrick and Fr. Frank Donnachie at the New Laigh Kirk, Kilmarnock; Minister Rev. David S. Cameron.
Ven. Prec. Sandy Connor was on holiday his apology was recorded.
Kilmarnock was very busy as Kilmarnock F.C. had just an hour earlier beaten Falkirk F.C. in the league play offs to stay in the premier league.
7th April 2016 The Neil Gregory and Robert Lamb Games Night.
A very enjoyable evening was appreciated by 21 Fratres and 3 specially invited guests on the evening of the Neil Gregory and Robert Lamb Games Night 2016. It was a pleasure to have in our company Mark and Paul Gregory, Neil’s sons who joined us in the games and then presented their dad’s Memorial Trophy and the other prizes of the evening. It was also a great delight to have join us Fr. William Kirkpatrick's son David from Brisbane in Australia.
The team of Ven. Prec. Fr. John Irvine and Ven. Fr. Tom Dunlop from Ayr Preceptory were the overall winners of the evening games (Pool, Darts, Carpet Bowls and Quiz) with a very good combined score of three 4th Places and a 3rd Place making them the overall leaders and received the Neil Gregory Trophy from Paul and Mark Gregory. 3rd March 2016 Knight Templar Grade
Ven. Prec. Fr. Sandy Connor welcomed into the Preceptory of Brisbane at Largs Fr. Andrew K. Park.
Ven Prec. Fr. Sandy congratulated both Ven. Fr. George A.Y. Dickie and Ven. Fr. Andrew M. Gourley P.P. Sec. on being Installed as District Officers for the first time.
4th February 2016 Malta Grade
and District Visitation.
Ven. Prior Fr. Sandy Connor presented the R.E.D.G.P. Fr. Sam Dickson with a cheque to be passed on to the Most Eminent & Reverend Grand Master Fr. James Hodge GCT Charity Fund.
On behalf all the Fratres of Scotland the Grand Master James Hodge presented a cheque for £1500 to Erskine Hospital which cares for ex service Personnel.
