So what really happens when you look online and book a room through a certain BOOKING Company ?
They take the booking, add their bit on top by way of extra charges made by the person booking out the room in order to pay their sky high fees, and you get a smack in the wallet.
You can instead look online on the site, take the details and call the hotel direct. State the price online and ask them to take off the BOOKING Company fees. You get it cheaper and the rip off from the BOOKING Company ends.
Also remember that a BOOKING Company hands over all your information to a complete stranger who in turn could empty your bank. Someone working on a booking desk could have been a fraudster a few years ago. BOOKING Companies do not check or verify anyone. They are all welcome to your credit card and personal information. BEWARE. Book direct and not through a BOOKING Company.
