There are organisations that are trying to stop people keeping animals in captivity. These people think that it is wrong to keep animals in zoos, safari parks etc. and that it wrong for people to keep pets such as reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, fish and invertebrates. Why these people want to distance us from other animals is a mystery but they say it is to protect the animals. If people are not allowed to have close contact with animals then it is likely that they will not care about animals. The organisations that are against people who want to keep and care for animals are wildlife's worst enemies.
Membership of Animal People Association will be available soon. Together we will ensure that people are always allowed to have contact with other animals.
