The Animal People Association exists to promote contact between people and other animals.

We believe that if people have no contact with animals then they will not care about them.

Going to a zoo and seeing, smelling and touching an Elephant encourages people to care about wild Elephants. If people keep and care for reptiles at home then it will encourage them to care about wild reptiles.

Out of site is out of mind. Let's encourage people to see, touch and care about animals.
