ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETINGS

for
The Parochial Parish of
Kirklevington with Picton, and High and Low Worsall

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is a legally required meeting for PCCs. It is normal for the Election of Churchwardens and the APCM to be held at the same time.
Firstly, The Annual Meeting of Parishioners is held yearly in every parish of the Church of England to elect Churchwardens and Deputies (if any) for the forthcoming year.
The following people may vote:
People whose names are on the Church Electoral Roll (whether or not they are resident in the church parish), AND
People who are resident in the Church Parish and who are also on the Register of Local Government Electors:   In other words, any resident of the parish – of any faith or none – who is registered to vote.

The Annual Meeting of Parishioners.
This meeting is to address the business of the Parochial Church Council including a report on the business and finances for the previous year.
Every lay person whose name is on the Church Electoral Roll is entitled to attend and take part in its proceeding.
Persons not on the Electoral Roll are generally permitted to attend at the discretion of the Chairman.
