Welcome to Wollaton Natural History Society
The Society exists to promote the study and appreciation of the natural world by arranging regular illustrated talks, guided walks, recording and publications.
The programme of indoor illustrated talks by guest speakers, takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month starting at 7.30pm at St Leonards Community Centre, Bramcote Lane, Wollaton. NG8 2ND (Opposite Wollaton library).

NEXT INDOOR MEETING:
Meetings are held inside St Leonards Community Hall.
18th September – 'Bats' - Mike Hill is the Senior Conservation Ranger at Sherwood Center Parcs. He has put together a Talk on the Bats of Center Parcs, which he gives to the guests at Center Parcs on International Bat Night which is observed on the last full weekend in August every year. This will also include information about bats in general.

October: Fungi walk at Charnwood Lodge, Leics. Led by Phil Lee. Further information when available.
Free for members, visitors £2.

MEMBERSHIP: £16 annually, payable in January, join on the door.
Pro rata after March.
VISITORS are always welcome: £3.00 per meeting, £2 for walks.
At meetings there is a charge of £1 for refreshments during the break.
