Illegal Activities

We have received the following anonymous email from a concerned person and would like to ask our friends to report any such illegal activity taking place in the vicinity of the Fair Haired Lad's Pass. The message will also be passed on to the Forestry Commission:-

"I would like to highlight the fact that the fair haired lads pass is getting destroyed by motorbikes it started with a red ford connect van which was reported to crimestoppers  and now there are others with a Toyota pickup and I am sure once word gets out we will be swamped with motorbikes",.

Please help stop this type of nuisance.

Glenfarigaig Wood

The gate into the Glenfarigaig Wood from Dirichurachan meadow has been replaced with an "all singing/dancing" Centre Wire bridleway gate in a joint venture between Tilhill Economic and the Highland Council. We were the liaison for this project. There are new forest roads planned for this area too which will open up the woods for access once the harvesting has been completed.

The group has been going for fifteen years now . We are constituted to encourage and develop responsible off-road access for walkers and riders in the South Loch Ness Area, to promote the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and to liase with other access groups inthe surrounding areas.

The group is affiliated to the British Horse Soctiey Bridleways Group
