Scottish Championships Congratulations to the bowlers from the West Highlands on their various successes down in Dumfries, On the Friday Dave Harrigan won the singles. Chris Mackinnon , Kenny MacPherson and Jill Mackinnon on there triples success, Ian 'Korky' Sikorski, Lennie Chiffers , Geoff Harrington and John Govier on there R/UP in the rinks. Dennis and Allan Eddie on R/UP in the pairs , and Kyleakin on winning the Jack Jackson (team)trophy.On Saturday to Korky and Roddy Morrison triples finishing 3rd and 4th . Roddie Gillies and Kevin Lawley being runners up in the Doubles on Sunday. The start date has been changed to 4th September,(due to other users wanting to use the hall on Saturday to raise funds for local kids - something we obviously had to support.) The club would like to run internal leagues through the Winter and will also host a competition. We would also like to promote a 10 person team for the Scottish Championships to be held in Feb 2011. So look forward to seeing you on 4th Sept (7.00 - 10.00) No membership, £3 entry includes tea and biscuits (if Kevin remember to buy them)!
