As an artist living in Inverness I am inevitably influenced by the breathtaking Highland scenery which it provides many of my subjects.  However I also enjoy still life, life drawing and architectural subjects - townscapes, old buildings or interesting interiors.  I paint mainly in oil but occasionally use watercolour and pastel. For many years I have had painting trips with a group of fellow artists to the West Coast of Scotland and also to France, Spain or Italy.  Of course our French trip had to be cancelled last year and will probably not happen this year either. Let's hope it won't be too long before we can all resume our "normal" life again!
