HERDING BEARDIES & FRIENDS

We are a group of Beardie enthusiasts here in the UK  whose prime focus is to foster herding instinct in show bred Beardies. We passionately believe that a Kennel Club registered  Beardie should still be a dog  that can do a 'day's work' We aim to maintain the working instinct of our wonderful breed by having fun training our dogs to work sheep & to provide the facilities to enable other enthusiasts to do the same so that they may assess their own Beardies herding instincts.   Whilst it is probably not realistic to think of our Beardies as  expert sheep dogs  we aim to train them to be able to do a useful job around a farm if  required to..
