HMS Dunkirk Association .
Members of Ships Companies from the four commissions (1947, 1957, 1959 and 1961) and anyone connected with the ship during its "Training Ship" period (1953-1957) are encouraged to join us and share memories of this wonderful ship.
At the first reunion held in Wolverhampton in May of 2005, when 16 ex shipmates got together for the first time in over 40 years, it was agreed to form the association.
Membership numbers since then have doubled to 31 and show signs of continuing to increase
Copies of the constitution and details of the elected committee members are available from the Secretary info@hmsdunkirkassociation.org or on the Library page.
Membership costs £8 per year for a single member and £10 per year for a member and spouse.
It is hoped that this web site will be instrumental in reuniting more of our "Old Ship Oppos" from any of the commissions.
Enquiries from all ranks are welcome.
Take time to browse the site and if you were a serving member of ships company or know someone who was, please get in touch.
