Delny House Hotel is a beautiful period property situated just off the A9 between the Highland towns of Invergordon and Tain.  We are popular with tourists and business travellers alike, being within easy travelling distance of Inverness, Alness, Dingwall, Dornoch, Nigg Energy Park, Invergordon and Evanton.  Golfers are spoiled for choice as there are several courses in the area, whilst there is also plenty to occupy walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. We are also frequented by LEJOG (Lands End to John O Groats) and JOGLE (John O' Groats to Lands End) cyclists, being just yards from the main trunk road North.

 

The stunning scenery of the West coast is only an hours drive away, with Ullapool, Gairloch, Kinlochewe Gardens, Plockton, and the Isle of Skye being feasible day trips.  We are a popular stop-off for travellers wishing to break up the journey to the Orkney Islands, whilst the northern reaches of Wick, Thurso and John O Groats are around 2 and a half hours away.  Dunrobin Castle with it's spectacular gardens and birds of prey demonstrations is around 40 minutes drive.

 

Dinner is served in our al a carte restaurant every evening between 7 and 9 pm, with breakfast being available on Mondays to Saturdays from 7.30-9.30 am and 8 til 10 am on Sundays).
