50th Anniversary Dinner!

In honour of the anniversary of 50 years since the founding of the club, a dinner was held at the Ardshiel hotel, Campbeltown on Saturday 25th October 2008. Food provided by the hotel was excellent.

The honourary secretary, Alistair Cousin, read a rollcall of past commodores, and those present (quite a few) gave a brief (or not so brief) speech detailing the ups and downs of their reign. Highlights included the sage of the roof blowing off the clubhouse, and Ray Mitchell's famous "The wa's fell doon" saga.

Cecil Finn proposed a toast to the club, and the evening continued into the wee small hours.
