Our Parochial Church Council
for
The Parish of Kirklevington with Picton and High and Low Worsall.
We work seperately to, but alongside, Yarm PCC within our Joint Benefice.
The Parochial Parishes of Kirklevington and Worsall have a long history and from 1920 the Parochial Parishes of 'Kirklevington with Picton' and 'High & Low Worsall' were held in plurality. Each Parish had its own Parochial Church Council to managed its affairs independantly, but in cooperation with each other whilst sharing the authority and care of the one Vicar.
Then in 2007 a Pastoral Scheme was mutually developed to merge the two PCC's management and finances into one Legal Parish.
The Church commissioners determined that the Pastoral Scheme would take effect on the 1st May 2009.
