Posted by Francis Patrick McKenna on 22 November 2022 Gungy White I served with Gungy in Calvi/ 2Rep in the 80/90s I was 1cie he was 4 Cie good guy he was killed in Djibouti just before Gulf 1. I do not think the fire officer who called in the 120s on him by mistake was ever charged you know how it goes!!!?I think there were four also injured I was a medic and was involved with the Medivac they were inert training rounds that killed him not live rounds. When we get together at Camerone each year we raise a glass (or 10) to him and the others he is not forgotten. "Legio Patria Nostra" Posted by Derek O'Neill on 18 March 2020 Another greeting from New Zealand I have great memories of my time with C Coy Edinburgh. My last job was in the Mortar Platoon in 1970/71. A few names stick in my memory: The Hunter brothers, Don Stevenson, Corporal Tait (Hunter/Tait mortar carrier fame). Would love to get in touch. Some might remember me as "Bloody Englander" from Inverkeithing. About 4 guys were with me when I did my second Para course at Abingdon in 1968.
