Ord House is a 17th century country house set in 40 acres of gardens and woodlands. and specialises in catering for fishermen (and women!). We offer flexible meal times to fit around the best fishing, a drying room for damp waders and jackets and a safe haven for rods. Dogs are very welcome and they can either sleep in the back of cars or in your bedroom.
There is an in-house bar with a log fire – ideal for a pre-dinner drink or to expound on the catch of the day after dinner. There are 3 other public rooms with log fires for those who wish for some peace and tranquillity. Food is a high priority and we use local fresh produce to best effect and have been awarded an AA rosette. There is a 3 course menu each day as well as an a la carte menu. Picnic lunches are provided on request. Our bedrooms are large, comfortably furnished and all have en-suite bathrooms. We offer a 7 night dinner, bed and breakfast package as well as a 3 or 4 night package for those who are only fishing half the week.
