Dalgheal is a Victorian sandstone-built house situated within a deer park in the beautiful private grounds of Novar Estate a mile from the village of Evanton. Originally built for the Estate’s factor, today Dalgheal is headquarters for TroutQuest & SalmonQuest, with both Braemoray and Dalgheal lochan where we teach fly fishing, within a short walk.
At Dalgheal we offer a limited amount of B&B accommodation for fishermen and their partners for stays of 2 to 7 nights. We have two large letting bedrooms with luxury ‘zip and link’ beds providing the option of being configured as double or twin rooms. One of the bedrooms (Raven’s Rock) has an en-suite bathroom, the other (Ace) its own dedicated bathroom across the landing.
The drawing room is reserved exclusively for our guests to relax, and has a TV and Freeview.
A Wi-Fi network provides good internet access in the bedrooms and drawing room for those that need to stay in touch with the real world.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide evening meals, so because of our rural location unless you have booked a fully guided package a car is essential.
