Braemoray is a spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable modernised house with accommodation for 6 guests, set within a deer park in the peaceful and beautiful private grounds of Novar Estate close to the village of Evanton, Ross-shire. Evanton is just 20 minutes by car from Inverness, and is ideally located to explore the Northern Highlands being within an hour of Speyside and the West coast. Braemoray is a superb holiday home, perfect for a family or a group of friends, and is available for rental from 2 days to 2 weeks.
Downstairs the house has a large lounge with open fire, comfortable furnishings and a dining table, and is equipped with a colour TV, Freeview, DVD, and CD Player. Adjoining the lounge is a large kitchen equipped with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and chest freezer. Downstairs there is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier, and a standalone toilet. There are 2 entries to the house, providing plenty of space for storing and drying clothes and fishing tackle. Outside there is a large garden and a south facing patio with garden furniture and BBQ. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms providing accommodation for 6 guests. The master bedroom has 'zip & link' beds providing the option of a double or twin room, and has its own en-suite bathroom. The other bedrooms have 2 single beds each; one has an en-suite shower room, the other has its own private bathroom across the hall. All bed linen and towels are provided. Braemoray is heated by total control electric central heating, and pricing includes electricity and an initial supply of firewood. There are excellent local amenities and shops for groceries. If you would prefer not to cook in the evening, meals are served at the local hotel and pub in the village and there are additional restaurants nearby in Alness, Invergordon and Dingwall. The house lies in a peaceful setting surrounded by woods and deer parkland, with its own resident herd of fallow deer, and there is immediate access to walks through the estate forests, inhabited by abundant wildlife including red squirrels, pine martens, roe deer and capercaillie.
