About us
Established in 2003 by a hardy bunch of souls who have created a small intimate club situated in beautiful rural surroundings overlooking the Davenport Estate.
Located to the north west of Worfield village adjacent to the village cricket and tennis club. The club can be easily accessed from the A442 Bridgnorth to Telford and the A454 Wolverhampton to Bridgnorth roads.
The club has a small clubhouse overlooking the green where light refreshments are available, bar facilities are available at the adjacent cricket club together with toilet facilities.
The Crown Green bowling season runs from April to late-September and the club currently fields 6 teams in the Telford and Mid-Shropshire area.
Those leagues are:
- Monday afternoon - Telford and District Ladies League
- Tuesday evening - Highley League (2 teams)
- Wednesday afternoon - Mid-Shropshire Seniors League (2 teams)
- Friday evening - Mid-Shropshire League
