The Wellington.
 

 

The Wellington is situated in the close to the heart of the Potteries on London Road which is the main road between Stoke Town centre and Trent Vale.

The pub dates from the early twentieth century.  It has had some modernisation in the past turning it into a one room pub from two rooms and an outdoor.

Andrea above has been the landlady for the last 7 years.  Over that time Andrea has built up the trade, having Marston's Pedigree on as main draught ale alongside another guest ale, also with other when known beers, lagers and ciders.

Andrea is also an avid Stoke City Supporter, who is always proud and keen to wear the red and white stripes of her club.

As well as a well set out darts room the Welly also has a good sized pool room,

also provided are cards, dominoes and Wii for anybody wishing to play and Andrea is always keen to provide a base for a team to compete in any pub sports.

The pub also shows all sports covered by Sky Sports.

 

About Us

We are a new team this season although there been a darts team on Tuesday night for more than 40 years on or off and the teams played in the Stoke Central Darts League.

In between seasons more often that not the team members turn up on a Tuesday night for a friendly game of darts between our selves, we would welcome anybody to turn up and join in a game.
