Q.  What are  Wade Whimsies ?

A.  Wade Whimsie are normally small -large  glazed porcelain figures  normally animals. First made by George Wade & son around 1867 .

 

Q .Where can I find Wade Whimsies ?

A.  You can find them in most Antique shops, charity shops, Antiques, collectors, flea fairs /markets. All you have to do is ask .

 

Q. How much to Wade Whimsies cost ?

A.  It vairies depending on the age and conditionand some times the rarity. Most common ones in good condition you can get for  £2 - £5   in charity shops, older  figuers £8  upwards towards £35 .

Boxed figures are worth more but if the figure is in poor condition you are just payimg mainly for the box and can replace the figure(s) in most cases .
