The vinvolved team forLeicestershire & RutlandApril 2008 - March 2011 GOODBYE! The vinvolved team for Leicestershire & Rutland, was part of v, the national youth volunteering charity, aiming to inspire thousands of young people aged 16-25 to get positively involved in their community. The vinvolved team for Leicestershire & Rutland, was funded by v from April 2008 until 31st March 2011, and was managed by ‘Voluntary Action South Leicestershire’ and worked together with 'Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport'; 'Voluntary Action LeicesterShire'; and other local organisations to promote youth volunteering and improve the quality and quantity of youth volunteering and youth-led opportunities. THANK YOU The vinvolved team (Leicestershire & Rutland) and ‘VASL would like to thank all the workers, organisations and volunteers we have worked with over the past three years, particularly the original ‘Leicestershire & Rutland Volunteer Centres Network’ members; ‘Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport’; ‘County Sports Partnership’; and the ‘Voluntary & Community Actions / Community Hubs’ that have hosted the team.
