The house is a lovely big old house in the South West of France, with 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), one large sitting-room with sofa-bed (futon) and a kitchen-dining room. It has been renovated with natural materials (oak, pine, plaster...) and is set in a lovely and authentic cobbled street .

It is located 35 km North East of Toulouse, in the wine-making frontonnais region. It's just a 20mn drive or a beautiful cycle away from the beautiful city of Montauban, in Tarn et Garonne. Nearby places of interest count gorgeous villages and towns such as Rabastens, Cordes, St Antonin-Noble-Val, Gaillac in the Tarn region.

The village itself has the Tarn river running through it, and boasts a 12th century defense tower and the house itself is in the medieval area of the village, a few steps away from a listed 17th century building, the "Grenier du Roi".

Villemur is a lively village which offers all the facilities one may need: bakeries, cafés, restaurants, a wine cellar, a fantastic patisserie-chocolaterie, a convenience shop on the main square, a few steps from the house. There's also a supermarket just across the bridge from the centre, a cobbler, a tea-shop, and many other you may discover on your wanders...
