A Living Wood
Stoneheap Wood is a young mixed plantation woodland on the bank of the Breich near Stoneyburn in West Lothian.
Its owners, Amy and Micah, are working towards improving the woods amenity and biodiversity value through the use of sustainable woodland management including coppicing techniques.
It has public access paths running through the wood, some muddy and uneven.
In the light of current restrictions on movement to slow the spread of COVID 19 please follow government advise
- Maintain social distancing of 2m from other visitors
- Follow hygiene recomendations and avoid touching gates and seats
- This wood is also a place of work , as such please respect the workers workspace and avoid any contact with them or their equipment
