South West London Building Restoration
At SWLB, that's South West Building Restoration, we have been restoring the brickwork on your homes, offices and churches since 1945 just after the Second World War. We were established by Arthur Gullick.
After being de-mobbed, Arthur and his brother Rappie worked in Shepherds Bush and surrounding areas, repairing damaged and cracked brickwork. Over the years this knowledge of London Brickwork was passed down to the sons and cousins and in-laws to the present day.
This brickwork consisted of railway arches, churches and many period houses.
We specialise in brick repairs, brick matching, brick cleaning, paint removal and all types of re-pointing including: Tuck Pointing, Penny Pointing, Weather Pointing, Flush Pointing and Westminster Brush.
Please look at our gallery of work to see our high levels of craftmanship.
This standard is achieved by using traditional materials and a bit of 'Old London Know How'. There is an old saying, when something difficult came up, "call in the London Bricklayer".
Your house is probably the most expensive purchase you can make. So when it's time to restore your brickwork, you only do it once. So don't be disappointed, use the best around, use us.
